Last updated: June 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Venril ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Venril is a project management platform that allows teams to manage projects, track tasks, assign work, and collaborate. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid plans as described on our pricing page.
Beta status: the Service is currently offered as an open beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice, and occasional interruptions or defects are more likely than in a finished product. We recommend keeping copies of any critical information you store in the Service during the beta period.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Not share your account credentials with others.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Transmit any material that is harmful, offensive, or objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Collect or harvest data about other users without their consent.
- Use the Service for any unauthorized commercial solicitation.
- Circumvent rate limits, plan restrictions, or access controls.
Illegal content and child safety
- You may not upload, store, or transmit illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Venril reserves the right to use automated scanning tools, including hash-matching against databases of known CSAM, to detect illegal content in uploaded files.
- We will remove violating content, terminate the associated account without notice, and report the matter to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as required by law, including under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
- We may preserve account data and content related to a violation for as long as necessary to satisfy legal reporting and preservation obligations, notwithstanding the normal data retention policy described in Section 8.
If you create a shareable report link, you are responsible for who you give that link to. Anyone holding the link can view the shared report until it expires or is revoked.
5. Subscription and Billing
Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Venril and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over content you create within the Service.
7. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence. When you use these features, relevant content you have entered (such as item titles and descriptions) may be processed by third-party AI API providers. Content processed by AI features is subject to the privacy policies of the respective AI service providers. By using AI-powered features, you acknowledge and consent to this processing.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings, or by contacting us. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our data retention policy; content you contributed to shared workspaces may remain available to the other members of those workspaces.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venril shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us through our contact page.
